Educational Trip Opportunities

We provide a unique educational experience for children to learn about agriculture through simple fun.

Summer Camps

Come explore Cherry Crest Adventure Farm during the summer when the farm is open to the public. The farm activities will be open for small groups to explore on their own.

Cost

$16 per person

1 FREE adult chaperone for every 5 paying campers

  • *Admission is offered to licensed/registered summer camp programs or daycare facilities/providers ONLY.*

*This admission does NOT include the Little Farmers Playland (including Corn Barn)/ Sproutsville area.
*Allow a minimum of 3-4 hours for your group to experience the farm.

Reservations

  • All qualifying groups must pre-register online to receive the summer camp admission rate.

  • CCAF has the right to ask for verification of license.
  • 1 free adult chaperone for every 5 paying campers.

  • Dates fill VERY early so don’t delay!
  • Check in time from 10am to 11am. Groups that would like to check in after 11:00am must get prior approval from the office.
  • A credit card is required for pre-registration. Card will not be charged until day of visit.
  • No shows without cancellation will be charged $80 on scheduled day of visit.

Food Options

  • Have your students bring a bag lunch to enjoy in the Barnyard Picnic Areas or purchase food from the CCAF food venues.

Summer Camp Policies

  • A ratio of at least 1 chaperone for every 10 campers is required.
  • All groups MUST have proper adult supervision. Your chaperones must be 18 years old or older to qualify as a “free chaperone.” Junior chaperones must be included in your camper count. Chaperones must accompany campers at all attractions and at all times while on the CCAF property.
  • Bus drivers, school nurses, and required 1 to 1 support staff NOT participating as chaperones receive complimentary admission. * Family of staff will need to pay regular admission price.
  • We reserve the right to remove your group from or refuse admission to the property due to unruly behavior, inappropriate dress, foul language, or failure to comply with the CCAF summer camp rules.
  • No refund is issued if your group is removed or refused admission to the property due to unruly behavior, inappropriate dress, foul language, or failure to comply with the CCAF summer camp rules.
  • Summer camp trips are weather dependent. If CCAF needs to cancel a trip because the farm is closed due to weather, we will work with you to reschedule your trip if possible. *Rain dates are not guaranteed.
  • Emailed trip information and policies must be given to the person in charge of the group on day of visit.

Please note that CCAF only accepts credit cards, Apple Pay, & gift cards. We are cashless.

Farm Fun Field Trips

Come explore Cherry Crest Adventure Farm on a Thursday or Friday when the farm is open to the public. The farm activities will be open for small groups to explore on their own.

Recommended for grades Preschool – 12

Cost

$14 per person

1 FREE adult chaperone for every 5 paying students

  • Field Trip admission is designed for traditional schools only. Non-traditional schools (homeschools, co-ops, etc.) are welcome to attend on Homeschool Days.

Hands on Harvest Field Trips

Visit CCAF on select Tuesdays & Wednesdays for our most educational field trip program. The farm is closed to the public.

Recommended for K – 4th grade

$14 per person

  • A ratio of at least 1 chaperone to 10 students is required with a max of 1 chaperone for every 5 students.

  • All groups MUST have proper adult supervision. Your chaperones must be 18 years old or older to qualify as a “free chaperone.” Chaperones must accompany students at all attractions and at all times while on the CCAF property.
  • Siblings and additional family members are NOT permitted.

  • Bus drivers, school nurses, and required 1 to 1 support staff NOT participating as chaperones receive complimentary admission.
  • We reserve the right to remove your group from or refuse admission to the property due to unruly behavior, inappropriate dress, foul language, or failure to comply with the CCAF field trip rules.
  • No refund is issued if your group is removed or refused admission to the property due to unruly behavior, inappropriate dress, foul language, or failure to comply with the CCAF field trip rules.

Homeschool Field Trip Days

Come and enjoy the farm’s educational opportunities with your homeschoolers, co-ops, cyber, charter schools.

  • Tickets must be purchased online.

$16 per homeschool student(s) and their immediate family members.

Additional friends and family not eligible for homeschool rate

  • Proof of Homeschooling must be uploaded at time of purchase.

Homeschool Field Trip Policies

  • Homeschool Field Trip admission is for homeschoolers and their immediate family members living in their household only. Other family and friends can purchase regular admission.

  • A ratio of at least 1 chaperone for every 10 students is required.
  • All groups MUST have proper adult supervision.
  • We reserve the right to remove your group from or refuse admission to the property due to unruly behavior, inappropriate dress, foul language, or failure to comply with the CCAF rules.
  • No refund is issued if your group is removed or refused admission to the property due to unruly behavior, inappropriate dress, foul language, or failure to comply with the CCAF rules.
  • If CCAF needs to close due to weather, your tickets can be used on another Homeschool Day.
