Have you ever wondered how your ancestors might have made butter? They used a butter churn of course, and made it all by hand. Come join our daily butter making demonstrations and learn about the butter-making process—then try it for yourself!

Would you like to try out an Escape Room, Cherry Crest style? Our Escape Room takes place on Grandma’s front porch (AKA our Discovery Barn Stage). The plot changes from year to year but mostly involves following clues to find something grandma has lost. If you think you can outsmart our creators and save grandma’s day, be sure to sign up for the Escape Room at guest services when you arrive.        Limited space available.

Nick Andrew Staver

Nick Andrew Staver has emerged as a captivating American Roots & Blues songwriter and the blue collar valleys of southern Pennsylvania could easily be labeled as his co-writer.

Writing and recording as a solo artist since 2014 has led to the release of albums including Medicine (2020), Live. In House (2021) and recent studio release, Rust Don’t Shine.

​Every live performance exposes parallels between his personal journey and the American experience, no matter the size of stage. 

​Each song, a story to further develop the focus on the benefits and struggles that come with small town rural life.

The Four Daves

The 4 Dave’s perform everything from Funk to Fusion, From Rock to Pop to Motown.

The group is comprised of four longtime friends and musical co-arts, four of the top purveyors on their respective instruments in Central Pennsylvania-Dave Wilson on saxophones, Dave Winter on keyboards and vocals, Dave Sheaffer on electric bass, and Dave Santana on drums.

Greg Grasa

A couple of Taylor acoustic guitars and a crowd-pleasing repertoire that spans the musical genres of rock, folk, country, soul and the blues. It’s an entertaining combination that has kept Greg Grasa in constant demand at taverns, restaurants, festivals, civic functions and private engagements throughout central Pennsylvania for more than 30 years.

Through three decades on stage, Greg has never lost his passion for playing and singing the music he loves. Whether it’s a gig at a local bar for a handful of patrons, or for a festival crowd of hundreds, he delivers the same energized show that engages the audience and has them singin’ along to an eclectic blend of familiar covers from the ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s, as well as some Grasa originals.

The Stu Huggens Band

Stu Huggens, is a legend in central Pennsylvania, regarded as the one of the very top country vocalists he brings his band of top notch musicians to present a wide variety of country classics as well contemporary and originals.

Major influences for Stu are Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Bill Monroe, George Jones. And lets not forget George Strait, Alan Jackson. Joe Nichols, Clint Black for keeping country Country.

Amber Nadine

Pennsylvanian-born Amber Nadine began singing and songwriting in her teens and hasn’t looked back. From piano ballads to upbeat acoustic guitar numbers, Amber presents her stories of life, love and faith with undeniable, evocative emotion in her voice.

Tropical Sunz

What is Jawaiaan music? Combining Hawaiian, Reggae, Blues, Rock and Caribbean vibed covers of your favorite tunes!

Ralph Leon Miller Piano Man

Ralph is a multi-instrumentalist, but his piano man show with vocals features covers of all genres. Ralph toured for 15 years with the Susquehanna River Band. He has opened for numerous acts including Hall and Oates, Hank Williams Jr., and Marty Stewart among them. Recorded three original albums and was signed at Lanark Records, Quentin Jones Productions. Ralph has recorded with national acts such as Charlie Gracie, Al Cooper, and Robert Gordon. He currently plays with Dibbs Preston and the Detonators from Philly, and Blues on the Loose.

The Buskers

The Buskers offer up a wide-ranging repertoire full of familiar songs to sip, sing and smile by, covering a variety of artists from the last half of the 20th century, including Eric Clapton, The Eagles, The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, John Prine, Jimmy Buffett, CCR, Van Morrison, Merle Haggard, Townes Van Zandt, and many more.

Elisha Grant & Common Ground

In 2018 Elisha Grant & Common Ground came together to play a concert for The Make A Wish Foundation and found common ground in our music and with each other. With that show Elisha Grant & Common Ground was born. With music from early rock n roll to country of the sixties-seventies into the 80’s Merle, Waylon, Cash, Jones and others thru 2008 sounds of Brooks ’n Dunn, even CCR and Tom Petty covers!

And with Elisha’s songwriter, storytelling tunes you’ll be sure to have a great time singing and dancing!

Mark DeRose & The Dreadnoughts

Mark DeRose & The Dreadnought’s music calls upon the band’s love for rootsy blue-eyed soul and classic rock of the late 60s and 70s. This band brings high-energy performances of upbeat, feel good music to stages across the region. The main goal when they step on stage is simple – spread a little joy through music! For fans of Van Morrison, Dave Matthews, The Doobies, The Allman Brothers and The Band.

All Weather Band

Blending distinct covers of American genres and influences – blues, roots-rock, country, R&B, swing, folk, gospel, bluegrass and jazz. All Weather Band weaves these influences and experiences into the spirit of Americana, crafting our present day, dynamic sound and performance with electric and acoustic interpretations and five voices.

Mitch Gregory

Mitch is a multi-instrumentalist playing guitar, slide guitar, the Wazinator, and is an accomplished harmonica player, and vocalist.

Since the 80’s Mitch has performed through out Pennsylvania – Jazz, Blues and Rock collaborations in 2019, Mitch began entertaining as a solo performer.

Mitch embarked on an eighteen month residency at the Boomerang/Harrisburg Comedy Zone focused on the blues and assembling material for his current project MITCH GREGORY BLUES. Mitch is performing Texas blues, New Orleans blues, Chicago blues, British and country blues in the styles of: Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top, BB King, Dr. John, Stray Cats, Rolling Stones, The music of Louis Jordan and much more.

Jake Mach

A critically-acclaimed country musician out of Glen Rock, PA, Jake Mach has been writing music since 2010.  Beginning his professional solo career in 2022, he has performed at hundreds of shows at numerous venues around Pennsylvania and Maryland.  With 5 studio albums under his belt and over a decade of songwriting experience, he is one of the most respected songwriters in Southern Pennsylvania.

Rock Box

Rockbox is one of central Pennsylvania’s fastest rising, high-energy power-pop band, performing a wide variety of the industry’s most requested classic & southern rock chart toppers, current & classic country and top 40 dance favorites.

Rockbox tours throughout the Northeastern United States performing at numerous venues, reaching a diverse audience while touring with state-of-the-art digital sound & lighting systems. The band delivers top-shelf vocals, rock-solid musicianship and an arsenal of rapid-fire-favorites. There is something for everyone to love.

Beka Jones

Beka is a singer/songwriter from the Lancaster, PA region. She has been singing since she could speak and playing guitar since she was 8 years old! She performs original songs and puts her own acoustic-rock spin on classics by bands like The Eagles, Billy Joel, CCR, Elton John, Matchbox 20, Sheryl Crow, and more!

Matt Tarka

Matt Tarka is a singer-songwriter from Lancaster, PA. For fans of The Mountain Goats, Tallest Man on Earth, and Tom Petty.

The Black Ties

The Black Ties are heavily inspired by Classic Rock and the British Invasion.

The musical repertoire of The Black Ties spans several decades of rock n’ roll. They cover classic musicians like Chuck Berry, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks, Elvis, Ray Charles, and other prominent musicians of that era. They also perform contemporary rock songs from bands like Oasis, Green Day, The Spin Doctors, The Romantics, The Ramones, and other guitar heavy ensembles. The Black Ties are also known for performing well-known crowd pleasers and fan favorites.

Mark & Jordan Rast

Old time, now time – bluegrass, folky tunes, with this father and son team. Banjos, fiddles, mandolin, guitars, you never know what will appear!

Songsmith

Songsmith is the creative collaboration of experienced musicians Steve Davis and Lynn Royer. Bringing talent, experience, and creativity to every performance, Songsmith is a breath of fresh air to the Central PA acoustic music scene. Playing an eclectic mix of covers, arrangements, and originals, Songsmith brings fun, quality entertainment and industry professionalism to your venue or event.

Lynn Royer: Vocals & Hand Percussion
Lynn has provided exceptional vocal abilities to a number of musical projects- both acoustic and electric and she has a beautiful tonal quality- both accurate and emotive. Her song writing skills are first-rate, with several songwriting awards to her credit. Lynn is also a teacher for children with special needs.

Steve Davis: Guitar & Vocals
Steve is a powerful acoustic and electric guitarist employing tasteful use of live loop and other technologies (never prerecorded) he has the ability to play in a wide range of styles. Steve also adds lead and harmony vocals to the mix.

Two Pints Shy

Two Pints Shy is a fun, energetic band that has been entertaining folks throughout the local music scene in recent years. They love creating music and giving their audience an entertaining experience by playing songs that are fun and uplifting. Playing a wide range of familiar covers spanning 6 decades, they also perform a variety of original songs written by Mark and Travis.

Two Pints Shy’s sound might best be described as power folk. Mark’s unique flat-picking style is complimented perfectly by Travis’ energetic bass lines, Wesley’s powerhouse drumming and Kody’s understated but catchy lead guitar work. What sets them apart from the rest, however, are their vocals. Their three-part harmonies give listeners a truly one of a kind musical experience.

Mackenzie Campbell

Mackenzie Campbell is originally from a farm in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She was raised in a very musical family, and began songwriting and performing at a young age. She went on to study music at Messiah University. Mackenzie was blessed to spend a semester of college at the Contemporary Music Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She has gleaned from artists such as Norah Jones, Miranda Lambert, and Natalie Hemby. She is a lover of all music, but country has stolen her heart, and feels like home.

Mission Impossible

Mission Impossible Band is a 8 piece band that performs a great variety of music. From the 1920’s, to New Orleans Jazz, Big Band swing, show tunes, and songs from the 1960’s & 1970’s. The group plays favorites from bands like Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass, The Blues Brothers, & Chicago. The band is led by Trumpet player Ben Mauger and features a 4 piece horn section (2 trumpets/ trombone/ sax), & piano/ guitar/ bass & drums.

Keri Edwards

Rock-pop artist Keri Edwards, with her soulful powerhouse vocals and Americana influences, is having a second coming of age. Fresh-faced in her forties and a new season of life, she is just now fully embracing her music again. Her songs in this chapter go deeply into a life lived, with all of the experiences, questions asked, hearts won and lost, victories and defeats — and lessons learned.

Intentional Walk

Modern Folk, Country and classic Rock – Bluegrass style, mixing harmonies and acoustic Newgrass covers.
