The Flower Festival combines the beauty of the flowers with all the fun Cherry Crest is known for. There’s something for everyone to enjoy. Wander among the blooming flower fields, listen to live music from Jeff McGaw and the Tropical Sunz, browse local craft vendors, and capture beautiful family photos. Kids will love the crafts, face painting, and balloon artist, while adults can enjoy a beverage from Britain Hill Winery, Raney Cellars Brewing, or Shady Rooster Craft Cidery.

Fall Season Opens with the Hometown Heroes Festival
Join us on September 19 as we kick off Fall Season by celebrating the everyday heroes who make our communities stronger. It’s a day dedicated to honoring the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and other first responders who keep our communities safe. A portion of ticket sales from the Hometown Heroes Festival will be donated to our local volunteer fire departments.
Along with more than 70 farm attractions, you’ll enjoy Touch-a-Truck, emergency vehicle displays, live demonstrations, the Heroes Parade, and opportunities to meet the men and women who serve our communities. Live acoustic music from Steel Radiance and beverages from Britain Hill Winery, Raney Cellars Brewing, and Shady Rooster Craft Cidery add to the festive atmosphere throughout the day.
The celebration ends with our biggest fireworks show of the year! After weather forced us to cancel our Independence Day fireworks, we’re bringing that excitement to the Hometown Heroes Festival. The result is an even bigger and more spectacular patriotic fireworks display to close out an unforgettable opening day of Fall Season.
