Have you ever wondered how your ancestors might have made butter? They used a butter churn of course, and made it all by hand. Come join our daily butter making demonstrations and learn about the butter-making process—then try it for yourself!

Escape Room

Would you like to try out an Escape Room, Cherry Crest style? Our Escape Room takes place on Grandma’s front porch (AKA our Discovery Barn Stage). The plot changes from year to year but mostly involves following clues to find something grandma has lost. If you think you can outsmart our creators and save grandma’s day, be sure to sign up for the Escape Room at guest services when you arrive.        Limited space available.

Mason Hess Band

Boot Scootin Country music causing reflexive uncontrolled dancing and singing. Mason Hess  band is on its way to becoming one of the hottest new country acts in the region, specializing in line dance and rocking country jam repertoire!

Trouble With Annie

Trouble With Annie –  five musicians playing the best of country music from the ’90s through the 2000’s. Bring your danicn’ boots!

Mackenzie Paige

Mackenzie Paige is originally from a farm in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She was raised in a very musical family, and began songwriting and performing at a young age. She went on to study music at Messiah University. Mackenzie was blessed to spend a semester of college at the Contemporary Music Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She has gleaned from artists such as Norah Jones, Miranda Lambert, and Natalie Hemby. She is a lover of all music, but country has stolen her heart, and feels like home.

The A440’s

The A440s are a brass band from Lancaster, PA, all about bringing good music, good vibes, and good times. They got their start at Millersville University and now you can catch them busking around Lancaster or playing gigs all over the county. Their sound is a fun mix of pop, rock, jazz, funk, and world music — basically a little bit of everything — and their high-energy shows always get the crowd moving. With deep roots in the Central PA music scene, The A440s are putting their own fresh spin on brass music and making it impossible not to have a good time.

Wake Up John

Wake Up John is a husband/wife/husband/wife quartet from Lancaster, Pennsylvania blending alternative rock, folk, americana, and blues into an eclectic but familiar style that is sure to get your feet tapping. With members raised in Amish Country (PA), maple syrup country (VT), and wine country (CA), Nathan, Hannah, Hannah  and Travis pair catchy melodies with precise harmonies to bring powerful emotion out of simple, memorable original songs

Elisha Grant & Common Ground

In 2018 Elisha Grant & Common Ground came together to play a concert for The Make A Wish Foundation and found common ground in our music and with each other. With that show Elisha Grant & Common Ground was born. With music from early rock n roll to country of the sixties-seventies into the 80’s Merle, Waylon, Cash, Jones and others thru 2008 sounds of Brooks ’n Dunn, even CCR and Tom Petty covers!

And with Elisha’s songwriter, storytelling tunes you’ll be sure to have a great time singing and dancing!

Mitch Gregory

Mitch is a multi-instrumentalist playing guitar, slide guitar, the Wazinator, and is an accomplished harmonica player, and vocalist.

Since the 80’s Mitch has performed through out Pennsylvania – Jazz, Blues and Rock collaborations in 2019, Mitch began entertaining as a solo performer.

Mitch embarked on an eighteen month residency at the Boomerang/Harrisburg Comedy Zone focused on the blues and assembling material for his current project MITCH GREGORY BLUES. Mitch is performing Texas blues, New Orleans blues, Chicago blues, British and country blues in the styles of: Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top, BB King, Dr. John, Stray Cats, Rolling Stones, The music of Louis Jordan and much more.

Local Honey

Local Honey is a high energy PA based jam band, touching on rock, jazz, and blues stylings while locking in as a rolling unit throughout each performance. As they continue to work on their own material, they cover the songs of The Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, The Doors and more.

Songsmith

Songsmith is the creative collaboration of experienced musicians Steve Davis and Lynn Royer. Bringing talent, experience, and creativity to every performance, Songsmith is a breath of fresh air to the Central PA acoustic music scene. Playing an eclectic mix of covers, arrangements, and originals, Songsmith brings fun, quality entertainment and industry professionalism to your venue or event.

Lynn Royer: Vocals & Hand Percussion
Lynn has provided exceptional vocal abilities to a number of musical projects- both acoustic and electric and she has a beautiful tonal quality- both accurate and emotive. Her song writing skills are first-rate, with several songwriting awards to her credit. Lynn is also a teacher for children with special needs.

Steve Davis: Guitar & Vocals
Steve is a powerful acoustic and electric guitarist employing tasteful use of live loop and other technologies (never prerecorded) he has the ability to play in a wide range of styles. Steve also adds lead and harmony vocals to the mix.

Rampart Street Ramblers

The Rampart Street Ramblers takes its name from that legendary street in old New Orleans upon which jazz music originated, once flourished, and still carries on its grand glory today.

Dixieland jazz music is characterized by its bright, happy, uplifting nature. It is music for the people; it is accessible to everyone. And it has a real patriotic flavor, because of its very nature,

The group carries on the tradition of the original, Traditional New Orleans and Dixieland style of jazz music.

Randy Zimmerman

Randy Zimmerman has been performing professionally for over 30 years playing for audiences from: Key West, FL to Toronto, ONT; Denver, CO to Portland, ME; and Seattle, WA to Sedona, AZ.

Gillian Smith

Sharing the stage with country icons such as Blake Shelton, Brooks and Dunn, Carrie Underwood, and Luke Bryan, Gillian proved she could hold her own among the best in the business. These coveted opening slots showcased her talent to a broader audience, earning her a reputation as an artist to watch.

Hildebrandt

Hildebrandt is a fun, energetic band that has been entertaining folks throughout the local music scene in recent years. They love creating music and giving their audience an entertaining experience by playing songs that are fun and uplifting. Playing a wide range of familiar covers spanning 6 decades, they also perform a variety of original songs written by Mark and Travis.

Hildebrandt’s sound might best be described as power folk. Mark’s unique flat-picking style is complimented perfectly by Travis’ energetic bass lines, Wesley’s powerhouse drumming and Kody’s understated but catchy lead guitar work. What sets them apart from the rest, however, are their vocals. Their three-part harmonies give listeners a truly one of a kind musical experience.

Cody Tyler Duo

Cody Tyler is an old soul, blending red dirt country with influences like Merle Haggard, The Allman Brothers, and Chris Stapleton. His latest forthcoming release, Tuscarora, was recorded in the remote mountains of Perry County, PA and includes the singles “Harper’s Ferry” and “Down the Creek” featuring Philip Bowen on fiddle.

Cody is the 2024 winner of the I-105 WIOV Showdown in the Park, was awarded Album of the Year and Best Country Band at the Central Pennsylvania Music Awards in 2023, was a runner-up in the 2019 Tumbleweed Country Music Festival Rising Star Talent Search, and a Top 150 vocalist for Season 14 of NBC’s The Voice.

Jake Mach

Born and raised in Glen Rock, PA, Navy veteran Jake Mach is a CPMA- and JMA-nominated singer-songwriter. With a soulful voice perfectly suited for storytelling, Mach writes in a variety of styles across the spectrum of country music.

Jake has performed multiple times at the world famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN, and has opened for Nashville recording artists such as Dillon Carmichael and Shane Profitt.

Rock Box

Rockbox is one of central Pennsylvania’s fastest rising, high-energy power-pop band, performing a wide variety of the industry’s most requested classic & southern rock chart toppers, current & classic country and top 40 dance favorites.

Rockbox tours throughout the Northeastern United States performing at numerous venues, reaching a diverse audience while touring with state-of-the-art digital sound & lighting systems. The band delivers top-shelf vocals, rock-solid musicianship and an arsenal of rapid-fire-favorites. There is something for everyone to love.

Mark & Jordan Rast

Old time, now time – bluegrass, folky tunes, with this father and son team. Banjos, fiddles, mandolin, guitars, you never know what will appear!

Quiet Tiger Duo

Quiet Tiger – music consisting of classic rock, pop, country, blues & contemporary songs. An eclectic range of pop covers and originals. 

 

The Black Ties

The Black Ties are heavily inspired by Classic Rock and the British Invasion.

The musical repertoire of The Black Ties spans several decades of rock n’ roll. They cover classic musicians like Chuck Berry, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks, Elvis, Ray Charles, and other prominent musicians of that era. They also perform contemporary rock songs from bands like Oasis, Green Day, The Spin Doctors, The Romantics, The Ramones, and other guitar heavy ensembles. The Black Ties are also known for performing well-known crowd pleasers and fan favorites.

Keri Edwards

Rock-pop artist Keri Edwards, with her soulful powerhouse vocals and Americana influences, is having a second coming of age. Fresh-faced in her forties and a new season of life, she is just now fully embracing her music again. Her songs in this chapter go deeply into a life lived, with all of the experiences, questions asked, hearts won and lost, victories and defeats — and lessons learned.

Amber Nadine

Pennsylvanian-born Amber Nadine began singing and songwriting in her teens and hasn’t looked back. From piano ballads to upbeat acoustic guitar numbers, Amber presents her stories of life, love and faith with undeniable, evocative emotion in her voice.

Miss Laurie Ann & The Saddle Tones

Miss Laurie Ann has been performing with her band, The SaddleTones, for over 15 years. They have performed at honky-tonks such as the legendary Rodeo Bar in New York City, theaters such as Sellersville Theater, and festivals such as The Lancaster Roots and Blues Festival. Along the way the band has shared the stage with various artists including Rock & Roll Hall of fame member Wanda Jackson, The Blasters, Reckless Kelly, Dale Watson, Wayne Hancock, Dave Gonzalez, Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys, Nikki Hill and others. In addition, Miss Laurie Ann performed on the fabled Continental Club stage in Austin Texas as part of a Loretta Lynn tribute that included singers such as Kelly Willis, Marcia Ball and Rosie Flores.

Keith & Sonya Duo

Keith & Sonya Randall, performing as the music act “Keith & Sonya,” are a  Husband and Wife duo currently operating out of the Hershey, PA area.

 They have performed  throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, and the New Jersey shore.  As a duo, Keith & Sonya cover a lot of sonic ground. Featuring multi instrumental Sonya on the alto saxophone, harmonica, mandolin, and  percussion.

Matt Tarka

Matt Tarka is a singer-songwriter from Lancaster, PA. For fans of The Mountain Goats, Tallest Man on Earth, and Tom Petty.

Intentional Walk

Modern Folk, Country and classic Rock – Bluegrass style, mixing harmonies and acoustic Newgrass covers.

Country Conjuring Magic

Award-winning magician Erick Hershey presents amazing illusions with upbeat country charm. His “Country Conjuring Magic!” show is fun, engaging magic, full of laughter, and suitable for all ages. Whether close-up impossibilities performed in the audience’s hands, or a bright, interactive stage show, he warmly involves the audience in a shared experience of country-style “Back-porch Magic”.

Cissy & the man

Everybody’s favorite clown duo is back for another round of “Circus in a Box!” You can catch Cissy and the Man on the Discovery Barn Stage or find them wandering around the property, blowing bubbles, telling jokes and juggling random objects. Don’t miss this fall favorite!
